Suncoat Natural Nail Polish Reviews

Review of Suncoat Natural Nail Polish
By Liz B.

All in all an acceptable polish compared to traditional formulations – but needs to be worn with base and/or topcoat

Packaging The Suncoat Natural Nail Polish is packaged in a normal nail polish container with a glass bottle and a screw top lid with a brush. The bottle is relatively small (8ml) which I prefer as it means there is a chance that most of it will be used before it dries up too much to be effective.

Application The brush with the Suncoat Natural Nail Polish is narrow and not too long, which gives good control over application. The polish went on well but it was difficult to get a smooth, streak-free finish – however I find this is often a problem with pearlised nail polish.

Ingredients The Suncoat Natural Nail Polish is water-based and as a result does not smell as strongly as other less natural nail polishes. It still contains chemicals and colours.

Results The Suncoat Natural Nail Polish I tried had a pearlised finish, which I do not like. This aside, the finish was acceptable, good for a water-based polish I suspect. However, it chipped very quickly – more quickly than a standard polish. In order to wear it successfully one would have to use a good base and top coat to increase the longevity of the finish.

Pros: Small bottle
· Good thin brush
· Polish smell did not linger like with other products – virtually no smell once dry

Cons: Chipped very easily – but this could be improved with a base and/or top coat
· Streaky finish
