Terre d'Oc Lipstick Reviews
Tami N.
Application First off, the packaging of Terre D’Oc Organic Lipstick is a definite eye catcher! Very minimal and eco-friendly, yet extremely elegant!
Terre D’Oc Organic Lipstick applies like a dream. It has a beautiful sheen to it and feels very light on the lips. There is no stickiness or smudging and the violet extract gives the lipstick a subtle and pleasant aroma.
Results It's great to find a long-lasting lip colour that actually lasts without looking dry or cakey. With most lipsticks, I'm reapplying several times a day, but with Terre D’Oc Organic Lipstick, I know I'm good for hours. The lipstick contains Candellila wax to give resistance and softness and Carnauba wax for a longer lasting finish.
The lipstick left my lips feeling soft and silky and thanks to the Argan oil & butter very moisturized.
The shade I tested was rather rich and dark in colour. But I could imagine a lighter colour of Terre D’Oc Organic Lipstick would make the perfect tinted lip moisturiser.
Pros
- optimised minimal eco-packaging
- easy application
- great feel on lips
- wonderful smell
- long lasting
- no stickiness or smudging
Cons
- The price is slightly higher than most organic lipstick

Natural Being Manuka Hand Body Cream Reviews
by Zainab C.
Application: The Natural Being Hand and Body Cream (£5.99) has a nice fresh herbal scent which isn’t overpowering. It goes on well but does need to be rubbed into skin. Once rubbed in, it is absorbed nicely and is non-sticky. Even if not much product is used, a lot seems to go from the tube and I think you would have to re-purchase frequently.
Packaging: The Natural Being Cream comes in a tube with a screw cap. Although this is hygienic and minimises wastage, it’s quite fiddly to get the lid off and back on, especially with slippery hands – a pump would have been better. The Natural Being packaging has a nice simple, clean design and is recyclable.
Ingredients: The ingredients are BDIH certified, so natural in origin. The product also contains rich ingredients such a manuka honey and shea butter. The product is also suitable for vegetarians and is halal approved.
Results: Skin is left feeling well nourished, soft and moisturised. The moisturising effect lasts a very long time and leaves skin silky.
Pros: Natural, rich ingredients, Skin is left soft and moisturised, A fresh scent
Cons: A pump dispenser would have been better, The product needs to be rubbed in quite a bit, The product gets used up quickly.

Living Nature Foundation Reviews
By Beverly S.
Packaging: Living Nature’s Foundation comes in a glass bottle with twist lock dispenser pump presented in a black box
Ingredients: Skin enriching plant oils including Jojoba, Avocado boosted with Manuka and Tea Tree oils which are known for their moisturizing and anti bacterial attributes. Living Nature are known for the quality and use of Manuka native of New Zealand. Superb blend in any cosmetic product!
Application: Finger tips are advised for the lightest coverage and this is the method which suited me best.If more coverage is needed then a foundation brush or sponge is recommended.Shake the bottle very well before dispensing!
Comments: I tested the Pure Buff shade and was quite shocked at the depth of colour as it really was a lot darker than any other foundation I have purchased for very fair skin. I was cautious to use the smallest amount which proved to be the best method of applying this as I had to work quickly before the cream dried. It didn't make my skin look dry or caked, sometimes mineral foundations can look very dry. After the foundation had settled it was a little darker so care is needed not to apply too much. Less is definitely more with Living Nature's foundation!
Apart from the fact I would prefer a lighter colour as this changed my colour possibly more than I am comfortable with as I don't tan at all. I diluted the colour a little blending it with my moisturiser and even mixed a tiny dot with a foundation which is more my skin tone. Despite this I was amazed at the staying power and the fact my skin didn't feel it had makeup on. Top marks for comfort factor & a beautiful (non shiny) finish to my skin. The fact my muslin cleansing cloth had to take this off at night proved tough even though I used a very small amount it lasted!
Personally I would highly rate this Living Nature foundation if only there was a lighter shade. I would purchase this as it is skin friendly and didn't look in any way dry, or make me look worse!
Pros
Only ingredients created by nature a used - nourishing
Free from synthetics
No animal testing
The best natural foundation for staying power/beautiful finish (not too matt but not glitzy)
Customer care top class
Cons
Shades are difficult to determine, it would be easier if sample sizes were available (although the company themselves would refund or exchange products if bought directly from their site)
Pure Buff has a slightly yellow base suited to fair skins although I felt it was more orange than yellow.
No top to cover the dispenser (only needed if traveling as the foundation doesn't need touched up during the day) if only using at home this wouldn't be as much of a problem providing it was kept covered in box.
I really loved the effect of this foundation but may find the tinted moisturiser better (lighter tone) used with their luminous powder. Excellent for medium coverage or evening wear.
I feel by testing this my skin improved and I feel more confident using a mineral powder.
Living Nature as a cosmetic brand have products which perform even better than main stream cosmetics if only they would introduce a light shade I would be more than happy to use this every day. A shade lighter my face would be brighter!

Essential Care Honey & Oat Cleansing Bar Review
By Zainab C.
Packaging: Essential Care Organic Honey & Oat Cleansing Bar comes in a cardboard box which is made of 95% recycled materials and is recyclable. The label on the box has a simple design with lots of information on it.
Application: The Honey & Oat cleansing bar goes on smoothly and lathers well. The cleansing bar has oat particles to gently exfoliate your skin as you cleanse it. This works well on both your body and face. However, I wouldn’t use it to exfoliate my face on a regular basis as the exfoliating grains are too large for this.
Ingredients: The cleansing bar is certified organic by the Soil Association and is 100% natural. There are only 6 ingredients including honey and beeswax. This makes it vegetarian but not vegan.
Results: It rinses off well and leaves skin feeling smooth but it still has that soap-y feel that you get with other soaps. However, it doesn’t leave skin feeling tight or dry.
Pros:
100% Natural ingredients and certified organic
The packaging is 95% recycled and recyclable
The cleansing bar goes on smooth and cleanses well
Cons:
The cleansing bar is not vegan
Although it is a cleansing bar, it still feels like you’ve washed with soap
The exfoliating particles are good for the body but not for the face

Juice Beauty SPF 30 Mineral Sheer Moisturizer Reviews
By Sally S.
Packaging: Juice Beauty SPF 30 Mineral Sheer Moisturizer comes in a plastic tube inside a cardboard box. The packaging is fresh and simple in its layout, colours and graphics. There is plenty of information on the box.
Application: The product is a fairly thick smooth cream. Its application onto the skin is smooth and even.. When I first applied it I looked scarily white and was in the dilemma as to whether I should have applied less or rub it in more. My concern with sunscreen is that if you apply too little it is not effective so I waited a few minutes and then gently smoothed it in. The harsh whiteness disappeared but did leave me a little pale. It is quite rich in texture and I was aware that I had a layer of cream on my skin for a while after.
Ingredients: Juice Beauty Products specialize in their range having 100% organic juice bases and for their sunscreens use titanium dioxide as a physical barrier to the suns rays rather than a chemical one.It also contains moisturizing oils such as sunflower and has a beautiful fragrance thanks to the Ho wood, mandarin and petitgrain essential oils.
Results: I waited for some sunshine to try this product out and yes it did stop my very fair skin from burning which may have happened if I had ventured out without make up or sunscreen. It is by far the most pleasant sunscreen I have used, it smells lovely and is not too greasy and for this reason I would use the product again. However I would not use it as a daily moisturizer as I could not apply make up on top of it and it is too rich for my normal skin.
Pros:
Very pleasant to apply, smoothes on well.
Skin nutritious ingredients rather than chemicals.
Smells beautiful.
Tube container is hygienic and allows for ease of use.
Cons:
Too heavy to use as a daily moisturizer.
Does leave a slight white film so only suitable for pale skin colour

Green People Gentle Cleanse Reviews

Living Nature Foundation Reviews
By Nicky Boyd
Packaging: Living Nature foundation comes in a glass bottle with a black plastic pump.
Application: Lightweight liquid foundation that blends in and dries quickly giving a medium, natural-looking coverage.
Ingredients: All of Living Natures products are certified natural by BDIH Germany (the international industry benchmark control body for certification of natural skincare). Ingredients include manuka honey (moisturising, nourishing, healing, rejuvenating and protecting with antimicrobial and biologically active qualities), macadamia ternifolia seed oil (rich and soft), persea gratissima oil (from the avocado, great for dry skin) and organic simmondsia chinensis oil (from the jojoba shrub and very moisturising).
Results: As I was applying the foundation it felt a little grainy, but I usually use a mineral powder foundation so am not used to liquid foundations. After application my skin felt very soft and fresh. I finished it off with a sweeping of mineral powder and asked my friend for her honest opinion. She said that she hadn’t initially noticed that I was wearing foundation but on a closer inspection my skin looked very natural. The shade of ‘pure taupe’ (a light shade with light pink base tones) was perfect for my fair skin (there are another five different shades to choose from). I have been using the Living Nature eye-makeup remover for years – fabulous for sensitive eyes.
Pros:
100% natural ingredients
Free from synthetic preservatives
GM free
Not tested on animals
No mineral oils
No herbicide or pesticide residue
Cons:
Takes a little getting used to if you don’t normally wear liquid foundation
