Juice Beauty SPF 30 Mineral Sheer Moisturizer Reviews

Review of Juice Beauty SPF 30 Mineral Sheer Moisturizer
By Sally S.

Packaging: Juice Beauty SPF 30 Mineral Sheer Moisturizer comes in a plastic tube inside a cardboard box. The packaging is fresh and simple in its layout, colours and graphics. There is plenty of information on the box.

Application: The product is a fairly thick smooth cream. Its application onto the skin is smooth and even.. When I first applied it I looked scarily white and was in the dilemma as to whether I should have applied less or rub it in more. My concern with sunscreen is that if you apply too little it is not effective so I waited a few minutes and then gently smoothed it in. The harsh whiteness disappeared but did leave me a little pale. It is quite rich in texture and I was aware that I had a layer of cream on my skin for a while after.

Ingredients: Juice Beauty Products specialize in their range having 100% organic juice bases and for their sunscreens use titanium dioxide as a physical barrier to the suns rays rather than a chemical one.It also contains moisturizing oils such as sunflower and has a beautiful fragrance thanks to the Ho wood, mandarin and petitgrain essential oils.

Results: I waited for some sunshine to try this product out and yes it did stop my very fair skin from burning which may have happened if I had ventured out without make up or sunscreen. It is by far the most pleasant sunscreen I have used, it smells lovely and is not too greasy and for this reason I would use the product again. However I would not use it as a daily moisturizer as I could not apply make up on top of it and it is too rich for my normal skin.

Pros:

Very pleasant to apply, smoothes on well.

Skin nutritious ingredients rather than chemicals.

Smells beautiful.

Tube container is hygienic and allows for ease of use.

Cons:

Too heavy to use as a daily moisturizer.

Does leave a slight white film so only suitable for pale skin colour

Green People Gentle Cleanse Reviews

Review of Green People Gentle Cleanse By Zainab C. Packaging: Green People Gentle Cleanse comes in a tube in the sample size or a pump action in the full size. This is good as it prevents bacteria from collecting in the cleansing cream. It doesn’t specify if the bottle is made from recycled material or not. Application: The cleanser is like a cream in texture and goes on smoothly. You can simply wipe this cleanser away with cotton pads or rinse it off or use it with a muslin cloth. I personally prefer using it with a muslin cloth so it exfoliates my skin at the same time; however, when I’m in a hurry I just rinse it off with water. It has a pleasant smell which isn’t overpowering or unpleasant; a light rose geranium scent. I found that you have to use quite a bit of product to cleanse your face well. Ingredients: The Gentle cleanser is made from 93% organic ingredients; the other 7% is from natural sources. The cleanser also has essential oils of rose geranium and natural extracts of chamomile and rosemary. The ingredients are listed clearly on the packaging so you know exactly what you’re putting on your skin as with all Green People Products. Results: This cleanser is great. It cleanses skin well, removing eye make-up and water resistant mascara also. It leaves your skin feeling smooth, supple and moist. Pros: It’s a great cleanser The ingredients are very natural and pure The product is suitable for vegans Cons: You have to use quite a lot of product 200ml costs just under £16 which may not be affordable for everyone It is not specified if the bottle is made of recycled material or not Green People Gentle Cleanse (£14.50) and Green People Skincare Products are available at naturisimo.com
