Sante Cream Foundation Reviews

Review of Sante Soft Cream Foundation
By Anisa B.

This Sante Soft Cream Foundation comes in a 30ml pump top see through bottle. It dispenses an adequate amount and can be controlled which I like, as you do not waste any product. It is also hygienic and mess free.

The texture of the Sante Soft Cream Foundation is thick and creamy, more cream-like than fluid, once you dispense it onto your hand, it does not move around. It has a ‘natural’ smell, it does not smell of chemicals/perfume like many foundations on the market today. Upon reading the ingredients, I can see that it has essential oils in it which is what gives it its fragrance. It blends easily on the skin like a moisturiser would, either with the fingers or a brush.

Sante says: Sante Soft cream foundation with precious mineral pigments for a velvety, especially flawless complexion. Gives your skin a fresh, pleasant feel. With cupuaçu butter, pomegranate extract and valuable organic jojoba oil and now in a bottle with an airless pump. Free of paraffin and silicone oils. All the talc in Sante products has been certified as being free of any asbestos traces and is not nano-refined, so it cannot become airborne or penetrate the skin.
I feel the ingredients in this foundation give is a hydrating feel and in turn, does not dry the skin out or make it uncomfortable as do many other unnatural foundations today due to their chemical ingredients.

I am quite pleased with this Sante Soft Cream Foundation as I have normal-dry skin and find that this foundation glides on like a moisturiser, feels hydrating and makes my skin look natural but eradicates my flaws. It lasts well through the day, approximately 6-8 hours which is adequate for me. The shade I was sent was 03 which is a medium shade and matched well for me. The coverage is light-medium, I find if you use a damp sponge it applies more sheer and if you use your hands, you get a light coverage and with a foundation brush, you get a more medium coverage. I find that this sets to a natural/soft matte finish, it does not give a dewy/satin finish. I also liked the fact that I did not break out or get any irritations from this product, which I get from nearly every foundation! That in itself was a feat for me. Overall, I think it is a very good buy at £17, it looks natural and does not upset the skin. I would only recommend this for normal skins or those on the drier side. Those with oily skins may need to powder often.

The pros of this Sante Soft Cream Foundation are:
- It is hydrating and moisturising
- Controllable pump, so no wastage
- Looks natural & contains good ingredients
- Smells lovely

The cons are:
- There are none!

Sante Soft Cream Foundation Reviews

Review of Sante Soft Cream Foundation
By Sandra S.

Packaging Packed in a matt plastic bottle with an airless pump, which is definitely a plus to keep the organic foundation fresh. You can easily see how much content is still left inside the Sante Soft Cream Foundation bottle as well. The packaging is actually very nice in a no-gimmick style. The net weight is only 30g and it is light that even frequent travellers will have no problem carrying it.

Application The texture of Sante Soft Cream Foundation is very creamy but also a soufflé like and surprisingly easy to glide on my face. If you want light coverage, just a pea size will do. For a full coverage, I would say two peas size is definitely enough. Firstly, I dotted the foundation on my cheeks, nose, forehead and my chin and then used foundation brush to blend them. You can use your fingers instead, but personally, I like using brush because I tend to apply too much foundation on my face when I use fingers. The cream is very light but moisturising that it blended out so quickly and thoroughly. I think it’ll last two months if you wear makeup every day. For people who wear makeup occasionally or once a week like me, it will definitely last at least few months.

Scent I couldn’t work out what scent the Sante Soft Cream Foundation has. It smells a bit like vanilla or soya milk sometimes but overall it doesn’t seem to have a significant smell. However, it is not overpowering and I don’t have a problem with it.

Ingredients Key ingredients include soya bean oil and jojoba oil. Although its packaging reads that Sante Cream Foundation is free from petro-chemicals, artificial fragrances, colours and preservatives, it has so many chemical names that I don’t feel very comfortable with and had to check every single ingredients and it is very time consuming. One comforting thing is that the talc used in Sante products are free of asbestos and not nano-refined which I don’t want any of those in my blood stream.

Result I never liked wearing foundation because it had always smudged leaving my face looking unnatural. The worst thing was my wrinkles and smiling lines were always magnified after using foundation no matter how I moisturised my dry skin beforehand. That is why I never finish using a whole bottle of foundation, not even half. Like some women, I only bought them just in case I have any special occasions or meetings to attend. I hate the fact that I wasted so much money over the years on all kinds of foundations.

However, I was blown away by this Sante Soft Cream Foundation once I applied it on my skin. I was never happier and excited about finding a wonderful cosmetic products! I love and bought a lot of makeup products but I never really use them a lot for fear that the chemicals in all the cosmetic products will harm my skin. But I will definitely finish this bottle because it has way less chemicals than the majority in the market and this Sante foundation amazes me in so many ways. The foundation is traceless once you blend them, it doesn’t magnify my wrinkles and the smiling lines at all! My skin was still so hydrated after wearing it for the whole day. It hasn’t made my skin sensitive or oily. It actually feels like a tinted moisturiser but gives you a fuller coverage than it.

Pros: Texture is excellent, creamy but not sticky.
Skin stays moisturised and flawless all day.
Makes your skin look healthier without looking unnatural at all.
Achieved nude makeup style.

Cons: No information on the percentage of organic ingredients in it
Shelf life after packaging has been opened not clear

Inika Mineral Eyeshadow Reviews

Review of Inika Mineral Eyeshadow
By Cath J.

Packaging The Inika Mineral Eyeshadow comes in a plastic pot with a plastic lid. The lid has a black edge but the top is clear so that you can see the colour of the eye shadow without removing the lid.

Application This was the first time that I have tried a Inika mineral eyeshadow and initially I found it very messy. When I first opened the pot particles of eye shadow seemed to get everywhere and after my first attempt at opening it I found that if I tapped the pot on the bottom first all the stray eye shadow settled down and it was much easier to use. I found the easiest way to apply it was to put my brush in the pot and then gently tap off the excess and gradually build up the colour that way.

Ingredients Obviously, because of the size of the pot, the ingredients are not listed however the website address is listed and it was very easy to look up the ingredients on the internet as the website was very easy to navigate. The eye shadow is made of earth minerals from Australia and doesn’t contain any toxic chemicals that are used in conventional cosmetics; therefore they are suitable for people with sensitive eyes.

Results Once I had mastered the application I was really pleased with the Inika Mineral Eyeshadow. The eye shadow was a lovely coffee colour and had a lovely sparkle to it that lasted all day. There is a wide range of colours

Pros: Great range of rich vibrant colours
Made of earth minerals so no toxic chemicals
Perfect for sensitive eyes

Cons: If you don’t tap the pot before opening it the particles of eye shadow get everywhere!
